FLAVORED WATER

SPA WATER IS EASY, DELICIOUS, AND A GREAT WAY TO GET YOUR DAILY WATER REQUIREMENT

INGREDIENTS

Filtered water or Spring water

Variety of fresh fruits and herbs, see below

DIRECTIONS:  Fill a large glass pitcher with filtered water or Spring water, leaving enough room to add a variety of fresh fruits and herbs.  The longer the water sits, the more the natural flavors are infused in it.  You can make a big pitcher of this up at night, then drink it all day the next day.  Refrigerate after 24 hours.

SPA WATER COMBINATIONS:

Fresh peeled and sliced ginger and sliced lemons

Sliced cucumber with the skin on and fresh mint leaves

Citrus…sliced oranges, lemons, and limes

Organic sliced strawberries and orange slices

Sliced grapefruit

Sliced watermelon

Sliced organic peaches and/or organic nectarines

Sliced pineapple and/or fresh coconut meat

Sliced organic granny smith apples and cinnamon stick

Fresh blackberries and raspberries

Cloves and orange slices

Star anise and sliced fennel bulb

Fresh herbs, leaves from one or several of the following plants:  lemon verbena, scented geranium, pineapple sage (leaves and flowers), holy basil, lavender buds (not leaves), dianthus or pinks (flowers), rose petals

NOTE:  Strawberries, apples, peaches, and nectarines are on the dirty dozen list of the most heavily sprayed produce, please try to buy organic.
